the challenge

this was such an interesting project and we almost got stuck a couple times. doulas, as an industry, traditionally don't have much in the way of branding or visual design, so we knew we had a lot of freedom to go in a direction that felt just right. to get there, we talked, explored, and talked more about what really felt special to them, what could we say, what could we show, and most importantly, what would tell a customer exactly what they were all about.

the solution


abundant joy doula turned out exactly what we had hoped from our first notes. the entire brand is exciting, bold, clean, and communicative of their philosophy. we knew we wanted a clean logo that would work anywhere, and after sketching on our table, we went the extra mile to make their own font that also fit the part. our favorite part was how we truly transformed the idea of the doula industry and aimed for a new standard.
