the challenge

working with the united states of america down syndrome swimming team was one of the most passionate projects we have ever done. with all the amazing organizations we have worked with, this one was special as we were tasked with helping them not just change their brand design, but change they way people saw them, change how they communicated to athletes, coaches, and donors, and most importantly, change how they saw themselves.

brand strategy

we worked with the usa down syndrome swimming team for months in a strategic capacity to discover and articulate the things that gave them heart. we helped identify and broadcast their purpose, their values, their mission, and even their core ethos as a board before jumping into the design phase. each weekly meeting was so inspiring - their core drive was to better connect with and lead down syndrome athletes by bringing inclusion and sportsmanship to the forefront. we hope we can partner with an organization with this much passion again in the future.

brand identity

the design proposed unique challenges. working with a national team that competed on the international level - we had certain expectations to portray and represent. we are so proud of the guidelines we created, giving everything from clothing to social presence a new look that matched the spirit of a T21 swim warrior.
